Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE)

SAVE may be the right club for you!
Here are a few activities that we have completed in SAVE:
- Facilitated activites for Say Something Week and Start with Hello Week.
- Packed and wrapped shoeboxes with toys and necessities for the children at the Homeless Shelter. This is a community service project that we did at Christmas time.
- Promoted random acts of kindness.
- Planted a pinwheel garden in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month.
- Created motivational messages for all students. These messages were distributed on the first day of End of Grade testing.
- Attended the SAVE Summit at NC State University.

This short clip provides several statistics about school violence. It also explains why it is important to "Say Something." Acts of violence can be prevented.
